Toxophilite Achievement in Far Cry 3

To earn the "Toxophilite" Achievement in Far Cry 3, you need to use the bow to kill a target from 70m or more.

Below is how to easily do so:

First, go to any Store ( or ) and equip the Recurve Bow, you will find it in "Specials"

Next, buy some Arrows and some Grenades

Exit the store and craft some Explosive Arrows. Here is how to do so:

Click "Escape" ➔ Crafting ➔ "Arrows" tab ➔ Special Arrows ➔ Explosive Arrow.

You will get prompted to set a shortcut for the Explosive Arrows (remember the key)

Now go to the unliberated North Krige Crest Outpost, it's west of the second island

If you have cleaned it out before, you can reset all outposts after you complete all missions and liberate all outposts.

Click "Escape" ➔ Options ➔ Gameplay ➔ Reset Outposts

Get yourself in this position to have a top view over the outpost:

Equip the Bow and press the key to switch to Explosive Arrows then shoot one from the top at the militia near the alarm and you will get the "Toxophilite" Achievement.
