Honey Production in Ranch Simulator is one of the best ways of making income.
In this guide, you will learn how to start the Honey Production business and how much income you will get from it.
To start, go to the Hardware Store and purchase a Bee Smoker and 5 Hive Frames.
You will also need 15 Wood Planks, 22 Metal and 20 Concrete to build the Wooden Beehive and the Honey Extractor.
And buy a Honey Barrel (Barrel) that you will use to store the honey.
Go back to your ranch and build the Wooden Beehive and the Honey Extractor.
The Wooden Beehive has room for 5 Hive Frames.
Every Hive Frame can house bees from one Beehive (Bee Nest), which means you need to find 5 Beehives to fill the Wooden Beehive that you've built.
Here is the location of 10 Beehives on the base game map:
And here is the location of 10 Beehives on the Southwest DLC map:
Once you find a beehive, put the Bee Smoker on the ground near it and turn it on to calm the bees.
Pick one of the Hive Frames that you have bought and collect the bees.
Find more Beehives and fill your other Hive Frames then go back to your ranch.
Turn on the Bee Smoker to be able to pick up the Hive Frames and put them inside the Wooden Beehive.
It takes around 35 minutes (real time) for the percentage to reach 100.
To extract the honey, turn on the Bee Smoker near the Wooden Beehive then pick up the Hive Frames and put them inside the Honey Extractor.
Attach the Honey Barrel to the Honey Extractor then close the lid and turn it on.
Keep an eye on the barrel to see how full it gets.
5 Hive Frames that reached 100% will produce 7Kg of Honey.
Once done, stop the machine and put the Hive Frames back inside the Wooden Beehive then turn off the Bee Smoker.
And that's it.
A full Honey Barrel (7.5Kg) is sold for $300 anywhere (Best Burger, the Hardware Store or the General Store).
To earn the "Beekeeper" Achievement, you need to collect a full Honey Barrel.
